Field Trip 3 - Seattle Naturalists Intro Natural World Course - Bible Rock

Registration priority for current INW students. Come explore the Teanaway Community Forest and hike up to two sandstone formations – Cheese Rock and Bible Rock. We will see flowers and trees we don’t have on the west side of the Cascades. We might even spot a few birds. We will be rewarded with spectacular views of Mt. Stewart and the Enchantments and the Teanaway Valley.

We will meet at the trailhead ( 2498-1840 W Fork Teanaway Rd, Cle Elum, WA 98922 ) at 9:00 AM ready to hike.  There are pit toilets at the trailhead.  A Discover Pass is required. 

We will be walking up a dirt service road - graded, not rocky  - which makes it easier to look around.  We won't rush but we do have 7+ miles to cover.  If it is a sunny day there are places that are exposed.  If it's a rainy day there are places that are exposed.  Please be prepared for all types of weather, including wind.  More information will be provided in the Hello Hiker letter once registrations are set.
