Training session for Wilderness Navigation Field Trip instructors. Experienced and first-time instructors welcome.
We'll meet at Discovery Park, and go through the course from an instructor's point of view. We'll also cover specific skills in more detail, as needed. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q and A.
In order to attend you must be a Basic (off-trail) Navigation Course graduate. No exceptions.
Required Equipment
Bring your compass, altimeter, and GPS (phone). Caltopo maps and scenario notes will be provided at the park.
