Basic Whitewater Packrafting Course - Field Trip #3 - Snoqualmie River (Middle Fork - Lower Middle): Tanner to North Bend
On this field trip the focus will be on river navigation, reading whitewater, and team boating. In addition, we will cover any skills on the course page that have not been covered in the first two field trips.

- Wood hazards including strainers
- Mid-stream and onshore eddies
- Current, eddies, boulders, holes, wave trains, laterals
- Sieves, siphons, funnels
- Channels and cobble bars

Required Equipment
Bring your own packraft, paddle, PFD, helmet, dry suit, waterproof whistle, oversize close-toe river shoes, warm layers, extra dry clothing and dry shoes, and lunch.
