Intro to Wildlife Photography - Seattle - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

Workshop/lecture to learn how to take the best wildlife photographs

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

Wildlife photography is one of the most popular genres of nature photography.  It offers a challenge that requires specialized equipment, skillset, an intimate understanding of your subject, and patience.  This course is designed to get you started on your journey to taking better wildlife images,  starting with equipment considerations and explanations, along with wildlife photography fundamentals and expectations.   We will also discuss basic field craft on locating and successfully capturing high quality photos of animals.

Your Instructor:

Danny first picked up a camera about 10-years ago to photograph the landscapes of the pacific northwest. While he still enjoys landscape photography, he has branched out over the last 5 years and has become more of a generalist, photographing sports, weddings, wildlife, and any other subject he finds interesting or engaging.

You can see some of Danny's photos here.
