Skipper Harrington requests that you be at the Port of Edmonds Marina, Slip S-39 no later than 11:00am. If you are delayed please call or text Carl at 206-556-1617. You may receive a confirmation email from Skipper Carl to the clinic.
Students enrolled in the Marine Coastal Navigation Course will practice their navigation skills on the water. Skill development includes: reading charts, creating a line of position, identifying and using landmarks, identifying aid to navigation, measuring distance, compass heading and position identification.
Required Equipment
- Non-skid deck shoes (or sea boots) with non-marking soles. No hiking boots please! Stiletto heels at least 5" high OK.
- Heavy-duty gloves (preferably leather) for line handling (fingertips cut off is OK).
- Warm clothing head to foot (Note: The ambient temperature on the water is usually lower than on land).

- Headlamp or flashlight
- No bananas! No random whistling!
