Field trip: GoWalk!: Beginner Urban Walking Series

January GoWalk! Urban Walks: 3 to 6 miles, 300 to 600 feet of elevation gain - Yost Park

This hike will pass through three Edmonds parks. We will begin at Yost Park, take a short jaunt through a neighborhood on paved streets and cross Main Street via an underground tunnel to Pine Ridge. We return to Yost Park and take a trail that will lead us back to Main Street to Hummingbird Park. We will enjoy the beautiful forest and hopefully have some bird sightings.

Most of this walk is on trails.  We will be on paved surfaces as we go from one park to another.  The trails can be muddy in places so I recommend sturdy boots or shoes.

Participation in 1 Urban Walk each month is required of GoWalk! participants. Enrollment in a second walk is encouraged.
