After-School - Explorers - Winter

For seven consecutive Thursdays, participants ages 9-11 will join us at The Mountaineers Program Center in Magnuson Park to develop climbing skills and socialize with other adventurous kids. 

Youth will have the opportunity to develop their individual climbing skills whether they are a beginner or seasoned climber. In addition, all kids will have the opportunity to go through our Rappel Progression, ending in a self-directed rappel from the top of the climbing wall!

Winter programming is conducted on our two indoor climbing walls due to weather and early sunset.

LOGISTICS: 

• Registration opens November 1st 
• This course runs every Thursday from 4:00-6:00 pm for seven weeks
• Sessions will run starting January 4th, 2024 and go through February 15th, 2024
• Drop off from 3:45-4:00 pm 
• Pick up from 5:45-6:00 pm
