The goal of this series will likely be slightly different for each one of you, but that is okay! We'll cover the nuts and bolts of trip leadership and how to navigate some of the nuances involved. I'll be leading this discussion from the perspective of a chaperone parent who may not have any leadership badges but is excited and willing to take part in making trips happen for our Youth!

OUR GOALS ARE:

  • Demystify & deconstruct trip leadership
  • Provide you the resources, tools, and support in planning a trip for your student's club
  • Finish the session with everyone taking ownership of one activity for the 2025 program year.

Zoom Session: 12/12/24

During this session we will be covering the trip planning process, answering any of your questions, and giving you time to begin planning your trips!

PLEASE BRING:

  • Laptop (and charger)
  • Notebook (if you prefer to handwrite notes)
  • Pen or Pencil
  • A good attitude and be ready to think about trip planning

This will require work outside of these sessions to plan your trip, so please don’t wait until the last minute to complete your trip plans.  Alvaro is available as a resource via phone or email, so don’t hesitate to call or send a message. If you’d like to meet in person or via Zoom, she's also happy to schedule a time to chat; just give a shout.
