Seattle MAC Anchors and Cleaning Routes Workshop - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center
How do you safely anchor a rope at the top of a climb? When you are done climbing a route after leading and/or top roping, how do you safely get all your gear down? This workshop will teach you those skills. This workshop has prerequisites, see leader's notes. This is a 1/2 day workshop. 9am-2pm

Make sure to arrive early so you can be ready and geared up by 9am.
Prerequisites: Climbing 101 workshops and competency with skills up to and including lead climbing/belaying.
This workshop is a prerequisite for rappelling, multi-pitch and trad climbing workshops, as well as outdoor multi-pitch and alpine rock climbing.
Badges
students will earn:
Required Equipment
Harness, Belay Device, Personal Anchor (PA), Helmet, a couple quickdraws, and an extra locking carabiner.
