This is going to be a relatively easy multi-night backpack in order to find some solitude and beautiful beaches. Participants should expect a relaxed pace. Weather is very fickle, we are looking for a weather window that has little rain (there will almost certainly be some rain). If it will be very rainy we will plan on pivoting to an inland hike. If the weather there is also not cooperating we will post-pone the hike.

Prerequisites: Attendance at at least 1 MAC conditioning hike throughout the year prior to backpack trip, attendance of Backpack Bazaar for new MAC students. OR leader permission.

Students must have demonstrated fitness throughout other MAC activities and may be asked to answer certain questions to give the leader an idea of their fitness/ability/experience level.  Participants will be chosen at the trip leaders discretion and the above are minimum requirements which do not guarantee a space on the trip.
