Seattle MAC Backpacking Trip - Panorama Ridge

Three-day, two-night backpacking trip through beautiful Garibaldi Provincial Park, with optional side trips (weather permitting) to Black Tusk and Panorama Ridge.

Plan to carpool from the MAC base camp in Squamish, BC to the Cheakamus Lake trailhead; and be picked up as a group at the Rubble Creek trailhead. Driving and carpool details are published online and will be updated on the trip sheet for this activity.

Prerequisites: Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course/badge. At least one MAC overnight backpacking trip must have previously been completed. Students must have demonstrated fitness in other MAC activities, and may be asked to answer certain questions to give the leaders an idea of their fitness/ability/experience level.  Participants will be approved at the trip leaders' discretion. These requirements do not guarantee a space on the trip. Standard backpacking gear required by MAC for a three-day, two-night trip. A helmet will be mandatory for the optional side trip to Black Tusk.
