A conditioning hike to help prepare and train for backpack trips, glacier climbs, alpine rock climbs, etc. Let’s hike to be amazed by gigantic rock formations in the Teanaway Community Forest, enjoy spring wildflowers and good company!

Meet at West Fork Teanaway Loop TH at 10:00 am (47.25977, -120.90504). Will need to leave Seattle Program Center at approximately 8 am.
Driving directions from Seattle: Google Map Directions ( 1hr 50m drive from Mountaineers Program Center)
From I-90, take exit 85 to Cle Elum. Cross over the freeway overpass and turn right on State Route 970.
Go east on SR-970 for 6.9 miles. Turn left on Teanaway Road, go 7.3 miles. Turn left on West Fork Teanaway Road. At 0.6 miles you will pass the entrance to the Teanaway Campground, continue about 0.5 mile to the end of the pavement to parking area. There is a vault toilet at the TH. Discover Pass required.
