This is our first conditioning hike of the season, yay! We'll be hiking approximately 6.5 miles, 1500' elevation gain. As this is a conditioning hike, we'll maintain a steady MAC pace (average 2.5mph) and will aim for a brief stop or two along the trail for layer adjustment/water/party separation breaks. We will also take a short break at Debbie’s View for lunch/snacks.

Trailhead meeting time: 8:30am. **Note: this trailhead is approximately 35-45 minutes from central Seattle.

Trailhead info: meet at the Margaret's Way trailhead, in the Cougar/Squak mountain corridor. NOTE: you do not need a parking pass for this parking lot. However, make sure your car is clear of any valuables or other glaringly obvious temptations, as theft has been an issue at this trailhead.

More hike details and recent trail reports can be found here on the WTA website.
