For this meeting, we will be welcoming Gene Tagaban to speak to the MAC group. From Gene's website:
Gene Tagaban, “One Crazy Raven” is an influential storyteller, trainer, speaker, mentor and performer. Gene is of the Takdeintaan clan, the Raven, Freshwater Sockeye clan from Hoonah, AK. He is the Child of the Wooshkeetaan clan, the Eagle, Shark clan from Juneau, AK. He is Cherokee, Tlingit and Filipino.
Gene Tagaban is a inspirational, motivational and influential speaker. Through his skillfull use of oratory, storytelling and humor Gene shares his experience, awareness, traditional wisdom and knowledge to deliver a powerful message of hope, spirit, honor and healing.
Required Equipment
Students should always bring their personal indoor climbing gear to meetings if they have some (climbing gear is available to borrow at the meetings, as well) as well as some note taking materials.
