This is a prerequisite for Snow 2 and glacier climbs in the summer. The prerequisites for Snow 1 are attendance at the weeknight glacier skills practice nights where students will be exposed to the skills they will be practicing on Snow 1 in a controlled environment at The Mountaineers.
A minimum of 2 glacier skills practice nights are required but more may be necessary for some. The more you attend, the more you will get out of the snow field trips and better prepared for glacier climbs you'll be.
