Brush up on your climbing skills and learn new techniques during this week of camp. Whether you're hoping to climb like Kai Lighter, Ashima Shiraishi, or Kristie Ennis this week of camp is for you!
Join The Mountaineers for a week-long climbing camp full of learning skills and learning the history of the sport! Campers ages 9-12 will have the chance to try climbing, rappelling, prusiking, column climbing, and belaying. They will go on a field trip to climbing area Exit 38 to put together a lot of the skills they learned throughout the week.
LOGISTICS:
- Open enrollment begins February 1
- Drop off: 8:45 - 9:00
- Pick up: 3:50 - 4:00
- AM extended care starts at 7:45am (Tuesday-Friday)
- PM extended care runs until 5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
- Family Day (optional): Friday 3:00 - 4:00
- *Please note: all outdoor activities are weather and condition dependent*
COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS
Camp capacity is limited to 32 campers per week at this time and campers should plan to bring masks and hand sanitizer of their own. Camp groups and activities will be as socially-distanced as possible throughout the week. Staff are monitoring the process of reopening closely and will continue to share updates and changes as they occur.
