Seattle Pathfinders & Nomads Backpacking - Pete & Spectacle Lakes
This will be a mentored backpack trip for me, Ryan Jones, as I seek to become a backpack leader for the youth program. Tom Robey will be the primary leader. This will be a great first overnight trip for families. Please be aware that we will have dog on this trip, so if this is an issue, please consider before joining.

We will meet at the trailhead at 8 a.m. to do a brief check-in on the 10 essentials an ensure everybody has what they need for a safe and comfortable trip to Pete Lake. Please make sure you have a Northwest Forest Pass to park.
This will be a family oriented overnight backpack trip. We will travel as a group, keeping our slowest hiker in mind and comfortable. Families should be prepared to dine with own-family. Our family is looking forward to the backpacker meal experience, so bring on the boiling water! More logistical info will be listed in the trip sheet.
