What's the Agenda?
6pm Social Hour
Meet with other leaders and socialize while you grab a bite to eat (Chipotle) and something to drink. We welcome you to come anytime within this hour.
7pm Basic and Intermediate Course Updates, Important Info for Climb Leaders
We will provide updates on changes within the courses, and how it affects you as a climb leader. Important information for leaders will include topics such Emergency Protocols, and dealing with problem behavior. We will also solicit your feedback on courses, what is working/is not working, etc.
8pm Demo Hour
We will demonstrate current techniques being taught within the courses, alternate methods to those techniques, as well as what some of the other branches are teaching. Already know what is being taught in Basic? We'll have someone available to show new techniques you may not be familiar with. During this time we will also have people available to answer questions about what is happening in the Progressive Climbing Education Committees (PCE). Near the end of the demo session, we will ask for your input on what you are seeing on trips, and what you'd like to see added or changed to our courses.
8:50pm Door prize giveaways
We will randomly draw for prizes at this time. Prizes include a climbing rope, GriGri+, Headlamp, and many more!
