A 94-year-old Northwest native, Fred Beckey is the quintessential “dirtbag” - the original in a breed of rebellious, fearless mountain climbers. This rebel climber’s groundbreaking ascents, essential guidebooks and pioneering lifestyle form a legacy that continues to inspire generations. Still defiantly climbing at age 94, Fred Beckey looks back on his own lifetime of accomplishments for the first time. Director Dave O'Leske has assembled an intimate portrait of the reclusive legend spanning nearly a century.
