The primary goal of this ecologically-sensitive walking -day hiking adventure is to view the laying and hatching of turtle eggs and photograph the wildlife especially the inquisitive coatimundi, flowers, trees, moths, butterflies, and the unique and extraordinary resident and migratory birds including humming birds at close range, in this stunning and diverse Central American country. We will be with Federico, a biologist/naturalist and photographer as we explore many different regions of Costa Rica in a private van from the Cloud Forests to the tropical forests and Caribbean Watershed of the Central Volcanic Mountain Range in some remote areas and in 2 private nature preserves. The adventure will begin boating our hotel in Tortuguero National Park. One evening relax at Ecotermales hot spring in the forest. Lodging will be in hotels and lodges and transportation in private vans.
