BACKCOUNTRY TOURING COURSE
A multi weekend lecture and field trip course designed to teach you the basics of uphill skiing and split-boarding. Instruction covers proper equipment, uphill movement techniques, and the vagaries of back country skiing travel.
Typically Offered
The course registration is normally open in the fall prior to the winter course, with most field trips in February/March, and the gear lecture situated before the holidays to give you time to gather new equipment.
