Trip initially open to Winter Hiking Series students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers 7 to 10 days prior to the hike date. Middle Fork Snoqualmie to Pratt River Connector to "Big Tree"

0800 at the TH.  Option to meet at N Bend Safeway-probably 0720 to consolidate cars, as we will need to get an early-ish start for this long hike.

Fun long winter river ramble.  I would expect to get wet/wear your best Gortex as this area follows a river and has many drainages into said river. We will look for "Big Tree”- an old growth beaut that missed being logged. This will be our turn around point. 

Please note the length of this hike (approx. 6 hrs of being outside) before signing up for this hike.

We will more or less keep moving to stay warm.   Like snacking and walking.  We will take a short lunch break at big tree.
