A day hiking course focused on trips offered in the Issaquah Alps and I-90 alley. Attend the required online zoom classroom session and participate in two hikes per month between January and March.
MAIN GOAL OF THE SERIES: To introduce all to winter hiking which at times can be challenging as a way to stay conditioned so that one is ready to hike in the higher mountains when the snow disappears. This series is meant for all to become familiar with hikes in the lower elevations of the I-90 Alley area to maintain your hike conditioning during the winter.
Prospective students must have the Low-Impact Recreation badge in their profile to register for this course.
