Winter Hiking Series: I-90 Alley

1. SIGN UP REQUEST FOR PRIOR GRADUATES:  Please wait to sign up 2 days after Registration Opens (Dec 1, 2024) to allow new individuals to sign up first.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION:  This is a day hiking course focused on trips offered in the Issaquah Alps and along I-90 corridor during the Winter months to help the participants become more comfortable hiking in the winter (FYI - there may be a few hikes outside of this area but almost all are within this area). This is not a progressive hiking course; you must be able to do fairly challenging hikes even as early as January 2025.  All hikes will be genenerally at least  6 miles with 1200ft elevation but many hikes are much more including hikes 10 miles or more with much more elevation. ***Everyone will need MICROSPIKES as part of manitory equipment to carry in their backpack for all hikes.***

COURSE GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:  Attend the required online Zoom classroom session at 7pm on Thursday 1/2/2025 and participate in two hikes per month between January and March 2025.
