Please read in entirety to consider if this trip is right for you.
This is for people who like to be moving and "doing it all" vs chilling at camp.
Please watch utube videos of "Knife's edge-PCT" and "Old Snowy" to know what to expect.
Day 1) 4.2 mile hike to Snow Grass Flat-set up camp. Optional additional 7.5 miles out and back to Crispus Pass through beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous views.
Day 2) 10-12 miles out and back day hike-leaving tent/sleeping bag at Snowgrass Flat (depends on how far we decide to go into Mc Call Basin) Climb up Old Snowy if feasible (usually has residual snow) and cross knife's edge -narrow windy ridge with unbelievable views. Lunch spot somewhere just off the ridge and out of the wind.
Day 3) 8.2 miles back to car via goat lake and lilly basin trail to Berry Patch trail head.
