Lecture 1 will be in-person at the Tacoma Program Center and will begin at 6:00-9:00 pm.

This lecture will cover the 10 Essentials and the fundamentals of backpacking gear which include footwear and the Big 3: your pack, your shelter, and your sleep system. We will have periodic breaks to check out and ask questions about this gear.
