We'll meet at Burton Acres Park/Vashon Watersports at 09:15.  After outfitting with rental gear and donning dry/or wet suits, we'll fit boats, discuss the route, and launch at 10:30.  Depending on conditions, we'll explore the inner and outer harbors, visit estuaries, and land at Dockton Park for lunch.  

Vashon Watersports provides PFD, paddle, paddle float and pump, and wetsuits with each boat rental.  Dry suits are preferable, if you've got one--we'll be practicing self and assisted rescues towards paddles end.  A dry towel could be useful.  Bathrooms available on ferries, at boat launch, and Dockton Park.  Optional dinner/beverages at Vashon's "Red Bicycle Bistro" afterwards.  Students should prepare paddle completion sheets to be signed off after the paddle.
