Where in the World Have You Been? Safari on the African Continent

In this "Where in the World Have You Been?" event, Mountaineers member Chuck Paeth will tell us about his safaris in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, and Tanzania. He's visited the African continent four times since 2016, and he plans to return in 2024.

Chuck is an avid wildlife photographer, and his photographs from his expeditions—including images of the great migration of animals in the regions—will capture your heart.

Planning for a safari can seem daunting because of everything from international regulations and preparation, to varying regional customs and languages, to climate and land features—this kind of experience requires a lot more than a packing list or conditioning plan.
