A peak pin and badge for scrambling a collection of peaks near our Irish Cabin property and the Carbon River entrance to Mount Rainier National Park.
About the Award
This was the first set of pins created by the Tacoma branch in the early 1930’s. It consists of peaks near the Irish Cabin property which is near the Carbon River entrance to Mount Rainier. Scramble any 12 for first peak pin and badge and all 24 for this Second Twelve pin.

How to Obtain
Scramble all of the peaks while a current member of The Mountaineers. The scrambles must be made in accordance with the Climbing Code. The scrambles can be private trips and with non-Mountaineers team members. Then contact the Tacoma Pin Official, Curtis Baxstrom at baxstrom@earthlink.net
