The holder of this badge has successfully completed our Outdoor Leadership Course, and has demonstrated proficiency in the following skills:

• Identifying and addressing problematic issues that can develop in any outdoor activity
• Strategies for preventing mishaps

WHAT DOES THIS BADGE ALLOW ME TO DO?

Although not a prerequisite, course graduates are better prepared for positions in Branch Leadership in addition to leading outdoor activities. May satisfy a leadership requirement of some courses, check with your instructor.
