- Improved knowledge, skill and safety when entering the realm of the winter alpine for skiers and boarders who are proficient on Alpine, Telemark, Randonee or Snowboard equipment and are in good physical condition.
what does this badge allow me to do?
- Those who hold this badge can participate in Backcountry Ski trips of grades M2G and up. Learn more about these kinds of trips in the activity overview or search for upcoming activities. When coupled with the Glacier Travel Course, the course prepares you - for example - to ski off of Mt. Baker.
