The holder of this badge has successfully completed our Summer Hiking Series, designed to help members stay in shape and connect with other hikers during the summer season by utilizing mid- to high-elevation trails that lead to lookouts and/or high mountain peaks.

What does this badge allow me to do?

Participate in lectures, field trips, and other activities that are part of our Summer Hiking Series program.

HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?

course

Complete our Summer Hiking Series program, including an online classroom, two hikes per month for each summer month within the course, and all required prerequisites (including the Low Impact Recreation eLearning course).

EQUIVALENCY

This badge is only for course graduates. We do not offer equivalency because this badge is not a prerequisite requirement for any of our activities or other courses.
