Branch chairs serve as the administrative leader of an entire Mountaineers branch.
DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS
The recipient of this badge have been selected by their branch to serve as the leader of their branch's operations.
Branch chairs support their committees to offer trips and courses, recruit new branch officers and activity committee chairs, coordinate budgets and operations of the branch, and ensure compliance with all Board and Branch policies. In addition, branch chairs lead their Branch Council and participate in the Branch Leadership Committee.
HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?
All active branch chairs will receive this badge. At the end of their term, branch chairs will receive the Past Branch Chair badge in recognition of their past service to the club.
