DESCRIPTION OF SKILLS

The E&B Committee Chair leads The Mountaineers efforts to foster a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community by guiding the committee in identifying and prioritizing equity and belonging initiatives. They advise on reducing systemic barriers to participation and advocate for meaningful organizational change to ensure all people can fully engage and find belonging in the outdoors. The Chair also collaborates with branch and committee leadership and the Board of Directors to align equity efforts with The Mountaineers core values.
