Youth Programs by Location
NEW IN 2024!
The Mountaineers is running a satellite program on on the East Side this summer. Day camp is based out of Renton for campers ages 6–10 and runs from 9 am to 4 pm each day. Each week consists of outdoor skills, swimming, games, crafts, and camp songs. Additionally, every week includes a field trip to locations along the I-90 corridor.
Bellingham
Just north of Seattle and south of Vancouver, BC, our Bellingham Branch offers a way to connect and explore with people between the mountains and the sea. At this time, we do not have direct youth programming in Bellingham, but do offer Partner Programs that are supported by our Seattle Branch.
Everett
Situated between Seattle and Bellingham, in Everett we enjoy access to the spectacular mountains of the North Cascades, Mountain Loop Highway, and Stevens Pass corridors with close proximity to the pristine waterways and recreation areas of the northern Puget Sound lowlands. At this time, we do not have direct youth programming in Everett.
Foothills
Founded in 2004, the Foothills Branch encompasses the Eastside communities along the I-90 and I-405 corridors, from Bothell to Renton and Mercer Island to Ellensburg. Starting in 2024 we are offering day camp programs at this branch.
Kitsap
In Kitsap, we're committed to bringing outdoor experiences to today’s youth through our youth and family programs. These opportunities offer outdoor recreation skills, self-confidence, self-reliance, an appreciation for the natural world, and a commitment to protecting the outdoor experience.

In Olympia, our wilderness adventures are scheduled throughout the year and are led by experienced Mountaineers. The focus is to have fun and engaging activities for kids such as hiking, rock climbing, camping, backpacking, razor clamming, orienteering, berry picking, boating, and more. We also have exciting classes for the family that teach Family Essentials and encourage a connection with the outdoors and participate in several stewardship outreach activities that offer families an opportunity to serve.
