Walking the Wild Committee
This committee made up of Seattle and Foothills Branch and Global Adventures members is responsible for running the "Walking the Wild" speaker series.
The "Walking the Wild" speaker series celebrates extraordinary trekking and backpacking adventures by Mountaineers members with stories, photography and information for other members to add those same experiences to their life list! Examples of adventures featured in 2017-18 included Patagonia, the John Muir Trail, the Haute Route in the Swiss Alps, and the Cordillera Huayhuash trek in the northern Peruvian Andes.
If you are a Mountaineers member with a great story to tell about your own extraordinary journey on foot through the wilds of the world, submit an application and your story may be an upcoming part of the series!
